OUR PROFILE
First Community Bank is the first fully fledged Shari’ah compliant bank to be approved by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) offering banking services on a complete Shari’ah system. The Bank received a formal approval from the Central Bank of Kenya on May 29th 2007, thereby opening the door for Shari’ah compliant banking not only in Kenya but the entire East and Central African region. The Bank commenced official operations on 1st June 2008.
